Wish List: Little Black Heels

Tragedy struck in my life this week.

My most practical, comfortable, functional, yet still cute black shoes are on their last leg... er heel. I have walked through the heels, to the point of metal sticking out the bottoms. It's sad. Sad. Sad.
Found at Target

And yet, maybe not so sad....

This means, I must get some new shoes. Aw, shucks. Mama needs new shoes, whatever shall I do?

I shall shop. That's what I shall do.

So, in addition to a great quality work tote, I am officially adding practical, black high heels to my wish list.

They need to be a lower heel - somewhere around 2 inches - so that I can function in them 8 hours a day at work. Plus, I find that I am far more coordinated in shoes that are actually strapped to my feet, which is why I have gotten so much mileage out of this pair, so I'd like the new ones to also have a strap of some sort.

Here are some inspirations for what I'd like:

All photos found on pinterest - you can see the rest of my "wish list" board here: Wish List Board.

I will probably end up ordering the ones in the top photo from Target, since that's where I got my other ones, but it has certainly been fun looking around at all of the gorgeous footwear on the web!

I am, honestly, quite proud that I have worn out a pair of shoes. It feels good to have used something so often and so completely that it needs to be replaced. Have you ever walked through a pair of your favorite shoes? Or worn out another favorite piece?

I'm really hard on my heels too, if you haven't thrown them out you can take them to a shoe repair store and get them Re-heeled for about $10, so worth it!

I love the heels in the last picture, though they are a bit too high to be practical work shoes. I have those Target ones, they fit like a glove and are pretty comfy :)

I think I'm about to wear through my boots :-( Although I might just have them re-soled. I like the first studded pair of black heels!
